Eastside Business Park
Phase II of the development introduced three industrial units, which are now filled with several brilliant local companies. Our Transport Assessment and access design received Local Highway Authority approval, as did the Travel Plan that aims is to reduce solo car trips and increase active travel to the units.
Montefiore Hospital
Our Transport Statement and parking beat survey investigated the impact of an extension to this private hospital. A patient travel survey was also undertaken to inform the Travel Plan aims, once the proposal had been agreed. This historic building is now a thriving hospital in the centre of Brighton & Hove.
Neptune Hove
We supported the planning application with a Transport Report and undertook two parking beat surveys to assure the council that, locally, there was sufficient on-street parking available to accommodate the change from a tool hire shop to a mixed residential and office use. The parking analysis was accepted and now this handsome building is home to a successful interiors business and residents with enviable sea views.
Roedean
Roedean is a prestigious independent school on the outskirts of Brighton, East Sussex. Our approved Transport Report assessed the potential traffic impact of a new multi-use games area that extended the ground’s use to all year. We then developed a bespoke Transport Management Plan to ensure that the parking and traffic impact of the new facilities are minimised and managed efficiently, which was also approved.
Trinity Medical Centre
Our Transport Statement analysed the traffic and parking impact of merging two medical centres. We demonstrated vehicle movements in, and out, of the proposed access with a swept path analysis. A Travel Plan was then developed, and adopted, to minimise the traffic impact of the development. This successful planning application has resulted in a modern, purpose built GP surgery in the heart of Hove, East Sussex.
Clermont Church
We provided a Transport Statement with TRICS analysis of the trip rate difference between the Church and the proposed residential use. The application was called to Planning Committee because residents objected to the development on transport related grounds. We successfully demonstrated that there would be a minimal impact and the application for six residential flats was approved.
Blindman’s Wood
We provided expert witness evidence in support of an appeal of the refusal of a planning application for this farm diversification proposal. Reeves Transport Planning successfully overturned the Highway Authority’s objection and secured an approval of the scheme.
Star Road Industrial Estate
This rural industrial estate is home to many growing companies. Munihire appointed us to produce a Transport Statement to support the erection of these two, large industrial units. An approved Travel Plan Statement has also been successfully submitted to Horsham District Council to discharge planning conditions. Audio Note is also expanding so we are producing a Transport Statement and Travel Plan Statement to support them in the planning process.
Kings Brighton
Kings Brighton is in vibrant central Brighton. We successfully produced a Transport Statement to support the original change of use planning application from a derelict carpet shop to student accommodation. A further Transport Statement was successfully submitted to instead develop the site into a state of the art language school. Technical advice was given to ensure that the new footway and highway works were delivered to the highest standards. We have also created the school’s approved Travel Plan.
